Community-Led Program Leadership

Futbol Association is supported by a network of Program Directors who serve as the connective tissue between FA and the communities we work in. By distributing leadership across multiple people and regions, FA avoids a single point of control and creates more access, responsiveness, and local relevance.

Program Directors help activate programs on the ground by working directly with clubs, leagues, teams, and families. This structure removes traditional bottlenecks where decision-making and opportunity are centralized, allowing programs to grow through collaboration rather than gatekeeping.

Program Directors support Futbol Association by:

  • Recruiting and supporting clubs, leagues, and teams
  • Organizing camps and tryouts
  • Identifying player talent and development opportunities
  • Supporting select team formation when appropriate
  • Registering players and teams through FA platforms

Their involvement ensures programs are shaped by the communities they serve, not slowed by centralized control.
